# Destructuring
Source: https://developer.mozilla.org/nl/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operatoren/Destructuring_assignment
The destructuring assignment syntax is a JavaScript expression that makes it possible to extract data from arrays or objects into distinct variables.
Syntax
const a, b, rest;
[a, b] = [1, 2];
console.log(a); // 1
console.log(b); // 2
[a, b, ...rest] = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5];
console.log(a); // 1
console.log(b); // 2
console.log(rest); // [3, 4, 5]
({a, b} = {a:1, b:2});
console.log(a); // 1
console.log(b); // 2
# Object Destructuring
const o = {
p: 42,
q: true
};
const {p, q} = o;
console.log(p); // 42
console.log(q); // true
# Array Destructuring
const foo = ["one", "two", "three"];
const [one, two, three] = foo;
console.log(one); // "one"
console.log(two); // "two"
console.log(three); // "three"
